SHOP 4 NESTON was founded in 2020 when local resident, Kris McFarlane was made redundant from his job as a Charity Shop Manager, and invested his redundancy payment into starting Neston's first and only Community Shop.

The aim of the shop is to give the Neston community an outlet to donate and buy items to help our local community, with profits reinvested in the local area. Last year, £15,000 was given back, including a large donation to NCYC, much of which helped to fund the reopening of our 'home venue', Neston Civic Hall.

SHOP 4 NESTON also has strong ethical values including recycling as much of its waste as possible, as well as recycling unsaleable items through textile merchants, a vintage recycler, book recycler and technology recycler.
